Objective

AirAsia offers the lowest fares online to over 100 destinations across Asia. The Malaysian low-cost airline wanted to build salience with Flipkart customers and link travel category to their purchases on Flipkart. They wanted to drive sales and saw a great opportunity of launching exclusive offers through The Flipkart’s Big Billion Days Sale.

 Solution

To achieve this objective, Flipkart built an exclusive zone called AirAsia Travel Store where customers could register and enter the contest of winning exclusive merchandise and buy products based on different destination themes like Goa-Beach Must-haves, Guwahati- Adventure Must-haves, etc. Customers registering for the contest not only got a chance to participate but also got exclusive offers from Air Asia to travel during the festive season.

Results
